Do any of you know where I might be able to send some modified carriers to be chromed? My brother and I have a couple of MGI lowers. We both have a couple of 7.62X39 uppers to use with the AK magwells. I've had some carriers modified on the bottom, on either side of the ramp where the grooves are for mag clearance. The AK mags have bigger lips. The grooves must be enlarged for clearance of the AK mag lips. I have several fully chromed 5.56X45 bolt carrier assemblies. I think that they are much easier to clean. I would love to have the carriers chromed to make cleaning easier. Do any of you have a suggestion of who might be able to do that work? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Scott |
