Colt 14.5" upper pinned to 16" here if you want to see it. It's a brand new Colt barrel, slightly used BCM BCG.
It closes on Clymer 5.56 Go (1.4636) gauge, does not close on Clymer 5.56 (1.4696) no-go gauge. It will close on .223Rem Clymer no-go (1.4666). Is this a problem? Can I still drop in the occasional .223 round? It also won't close on the Colt maximum headspace guage (1.4736), obviously. It is safe to shoot, right? I guess I should mention I have a new Spikes BCG I can try, and I also have a new BCM bolt I can drop into the BCM BCG and try again, what would you do? |
