When I bought my 18in varmint White Oak barrel I payed extra for the Headspaced Bolt.

I bought a seperate BCG and forgot about my headspaced bolt.

After finishing my rifle and shooting it i remembered about the Bolt. I then dissassembled
the BCG and put on the Headspaced bolt, placed it in my gun, but I wouldnt be able the pull
back the charging handle. I tried cocking it a few more times but it only pulled back once.

I ended up putting on the old bolt again and i worked fine.

Whats going on here???

So you installed the headspaced bolt then you were only able to charge the weapon once ... with or without a round in the chamber?

My guess is it's just a really tight fitting bolt and possibly needs some extra lube ... the matching barrel and headspaced bolt combo's usually are tight fitting and you need to run it wet for a little while for everything to break in.

That's what I thought but I just wanted to make sure
I wasn't going to have some kind of malfunction

Thanks
