I'm currently rebuilding my AR15 A2 into a M4 with a Bushmaster Bolt, DPMS barrel and DPMS flat top upper receiver and I was wondering if anyone has used this same bolt and barrel setup and if so, did you have any headspacing issue's?. The bolt, barrel and upper receiver are all in new condition and I will be sending the upper receiver parts to Bushmaster to have the upper assembled & have the headspacing check so dont think I'll run into any problems but I was just wondering anyways. |

You always want to check headspace on a new build, but it's super rare that new parts don't pass the test. There is a lot of safety margin built into the headspace gauge from a manufacturing staindpoint. How much does bushmaster charge to check headspace and assemble your upper for you? I get $40 with return shipping if you send a box of parts and there is nothing missing... |
