I have a pair of sordin hearing protection and i know i read in a couple recent threads that there were gel earcups for them. I searched on a link for tactical command and i shot and only saw the peltor sports on there. Does anyone know where they are found now and if they are worth it? I tend to get a headache if i wear the sordins for a extended period. Have any of you found a good way to loosen the clamping force  on those? Also will those gel earcups help any with that? If i can find them that is. I have to wear safety glasses at work and have noticed that if i dont bend out the earpieces a little ill get a headache from them. I think it presses on some nerve or vein around the top or back top of my ear. I wonder if the foam cups are basically doing that with my shooting glasses. On a side note ive thought about getting some of the peltor sports with gel earcups for my girlfriend for christmas. Are they a pretty nice set for simple range use? I dont forsee her going to many classes. Since we both wear sunglasses or safety glasses when we shoot i think the gel will seal around the ears better too. Thanks, Major |
