I have been contemplating a heavier than normal buffer to solve some issues w/ a 10.25 upper.  I'm currently looking at either a H2 or H3, probably the H2.  How likely is it I would go too heavy if I went w/ the H3?  It would be on a SBR so full auto isn't a concern.

VERY unlikely to be too heavy, unless you are already having short stroking troubles. I run 9mm buffers in my shorties as well as my 16", they work fine, and are heavier than H3's. If it were my 10.25, then i would put in the H3 or 9mm buffer.

I run the 9mm also but in my 16". no problems ever.

OK.  You talked me into it.  It's a H3, but if it doesn't work it's all your fault!  Thanks.  I was wavering between the H2 & H3.  I've never run a H buffer & wasn't sure what to try or if the extra $8 was going to help or hinder reliability.  I don't mind paying for results, but I don't want to pay & pay & not have it work.
