i've been wondering and contemplating building another AR more on the side of low and slow than anything tactical.  Only problem is i havent really found parts all that available (or at least i'm looking in all of the wrong places)

I've been very please with my Del-Ton build and kindof wanted to go that route (pre assembled upper) again, but i was wondering what my options would be and where good places to start looking would be.

Thanks

I think you're going to have to clarify "low and slow" to get many responses.

just what do you mean by heavy build?

here is my lead sled:

15lbs of joy there......

Shilen custom profiled barrel. 22" bull (maybe a hair bigger) barrel in S.S.
JP picatinney gas block
JP "tank" break
Extended POF slim profile rail system
ASA Side Charging upper
DPMS S.S. lower receiver
Jewell Trigger
Tactical pistol grip with palm rest
Magpul PRS stock
Raptor Bipod
Leupold 6.5-20 EFR scope with Arms throw lever rings.

I have since swapped out the bipod, but the weight is still just about the same.....to me, now this is a heavy build.
