Brennan apparently has a few books out covering the subject.  Looks to be pretty good (edit for clarification).  Might maybe be of interest to some of you.  Or not.

In early '72 Blue Max had quite a few Cobras with nose art.  It was quite popular then.  By mid-'72 10 of our 13 Cobras had be destroyed or so severely damaged from hostile fire that they were junked.  Not much time for art in those days.  Most ships looked like spotted dogs from having numerous bullet holes patched on a continuing basis.

Sqaudran publications had a few books at ine time, mostly for model builders.
