I have been reading and doing some research here for about a month. I finally decided to join so here I am. Hello to and thanks for all the research everyone has done. As you can tell from the list below I like to shoot. I currently and have lived in the central Missouri area all my life and have done quite a bit of hunting. I currently own: Armalite AR-10A4 with a Springfield Armory Scope I just had a National Match 2 stage trigger installed and have yet to take it to the range. Before I was able to get 2 MOA at 200 yards. Hoping now I can see a 1 MOA with the better trigger installed. Factory trigger is not very good..too much creep. I for one have nothing but good things to say about the Springfield Armory Scope. It in one step below the illuminated scope. Never failed and have been able to make out what things are in dusk/ dawn better than other people that I have hunted with. AK-47 Bullpup Sent orginal AK off and had kit installed. Really needs front and rear sight shaved off and just go with a red dot style scope. M44 (7.62X54R) Bought cheap. It is the longer version and gets 3 MOA out to 250 yards with a cheap Barska scope on it. Good enough to kill deer with. Other rifles: 22 cal, 9mm carbine, 50 cal blackpowder, Mossberg 12 ga. Handguns: Glock 45 cal, S&W 22 cal, Desert Eagle 44 mag, Tarus 9 mm I currently have on order (For the last 4 month) an AR-15 This is what I am waiting on to arrive: Panther Classic 16 (With carry handle) Chromed lined 16 in heavy barrel with A-2 flash hider Free Float 4 rail guards JP adjustable Trigger AP4 Stock IMX front and rear sights I am having the following done: CRYO the barrel Fluting the barrel and having it hardcoated teflon black after it has been fluted I have the following to go on the rifle when I get it: Bushnell HOLO sight CAA TDI Bi-Functional Vertical Grip BVG RAS foregrip Green Dot Laser Sight Kit w Pressure Pad & Knob Switch PENTAGON RAILED WEAPON LIGHT (70 Lumens) I have a friend in the military looking into getting me a ACOG 4x32. Will replace the holo sight if I can get cheap enough..say around $500 or so. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/james51058/DSC00139.jpg Not sure why the picture did not upload. But if anyone wants to see you can go here. Firearms Also I thought moa was 1" square no matter what the distance. Makes me feel better if 2" at 200 yards is moa, especially since I could put two holes cutting into each other and the 3rd hole about 1 inch or so off. I will post pictures of targets next time I go to the range and fire a few rounds. I just bought a new dvd camcorder so will try to upload movies of my friends and I at the range. Also will definately make a trip up to Fayette. I am less than 30 minutes from them. |

Welcome to the site! ![]() If you're in Central Missouri, you may not be too far from CMMG's facility in Fayette (north of Columbia). They are a great bunch of people, and do fantastic work when it comes to the AR-15 rifle. Go visit them, and your craving for more AR's will undoubtedly become stronger!! |
