| Ok guys, I have a colt match target hbar 20'. I got a good deal on this gun and have a question. I really don't like how heavy this sucker is. Can I just slap any uppper on it. I mean can I buy a 14.5 in barrelled upper and will it work? I know this is a stupid question but I want to make sure. If I can do this what other manufactures would work with colt |

You can use any upper you like, blacksuit as long as it meets BATF regulation** (barrel at least 16 inches in length, or an NFA stamp for it being shorter) In fact, most have "converted" their HBAR Colts to something a bit more contemporary than a bare muzzled 20"er. (**It may need a special pin but they are cheap) But your lower will support virtually any upper. Keep us posted. |
