| I've built or converted a dozen ARs but never a 9mm. A friend showed up with a regular 5.56mm DPMS lower, a pre-ban Colt 9mm upper, and a two piece mag well adapter block that uses the set screws....and wants me to make it work (he has zero mechninical aptitude). I've done some searches and research and understand that everything should work together but I may have to put in a heavy buffer and change the hammer but won't know until after testing. So what's the best way to fit the magwell adapters? Any other lessons learned? |
