Back in 1996, I purchased a new Bushmaster AR15 via a private party transfer. I used the lower for a bit with a good old A2 upper that I had. The rifle came with what I believe is a Bushmaster V-Match 20" upper. I had put this upper away, unfired and it still sits in my safe a virgin upper. You can see the upper receivers anodization has a dark plum colored appearance.
Can anyone else identify via the pictures below if this is indeed a Bushmaster V-Match upper? I haven't seen any others in person so I am only going on what I am led to believe from the research I have done. The barrel DOES NOT have any indication of being a Bushmaster nor does it indicate twist rate, etc. I have pulled it apart and taken off the free floating hand guard to check underneath with negative results. Any comments are appreciated. http://www.mjwgroup.com/ebay/upper/Left.jpg http://www.mjwgroup.com/ebay/upper/Right.jpg http://www.mjwgroup.com/ebay/upper/Gas http://www.mjwgroup.com/ebay/upper/Up_CH_BCG.jpg http://www.mjwgroup.com/ebay/upper/CH.jpg http://www.mjwgroup.com/ebay/upper/CH2.jpg http://www.mjwgroup.com/ebay/upper/CH3.jpg http://www.mjwgroup.com/ebay/upper/BCG.jpg http://www.mjwgroup.com/ebay/upper/BCG2.jpg http://www.mjwgroup.com/ebay/upper/Chamber.jpg |
