Going to the gunshow this weekend to see if I can pick up any decently priced parts to start my pistol build, and need a lil help deciding on an upper. The following ones listed below are the ones I've been thinking about, and the last one being one i'd piece together. What would you choose from the ones listed below, and if you have any experience with any or all, do tell what you did or didn't like about it. And if you have another you'd like to suggest I'm all ears.

Pistol uppers at a gun show. Personally I've never seen much of a selection and never exactly what I wanted. Since you can buy uppers online and get what you want I think I would go that route. You look like you have a pretty good idea of what's out there. I've also aways found the shows overpriced when it comes to things like pistol /short uppers. Except for Spikes...if you are really dealing with them personally.
Thats just me, I don't know were you live, my experience has been with Orlando and Jax shows. Go look around and see if you get lucky. |

Oh, I should clarify. I'm buying the major parts online, but am going to the gunshow to pick up the miscellaneous parts if any are to be found for a good price (lpk, grip, buffer tube, etc), and to chat it up with Spikes a bit.
I'm in Orlando, and agree with what you said about most being overpriced, and no selection lol. |
