I think you may still need a spacer with that buffer. I don't think it is one of the longer ones.

If you are going with a QC10 lower you may want to stick with their barrel and bolt.  They have redesigned them in the past couple of months that might lead to questionable reliability.

Do this, I haven't even completed my build bought I cheaper barrel and have already sold it and bought QC10's because I didn't want to risk it. Also you may want to get a better buffer.
ETA- You can't beat the fit and finish of the VLTOR uppers on these builds, also recommended by QC10.

I have a newer QC10 lower that I use a cmmg modified bolt, and eBay tactical ambush 4" barrel with and I have no reliability issues. And that's shooting suppressed as well as unsuppressed

Since you have a Colt based QC10 you should be fine with most any barrel based on what I've heard and read.     It's with the Glock based lowers that there are some feeding issues with the cut of certain 9mm barrels.

With that said, QC10 does say they've designed their barrels and bolts to work the best with their lowers although others may work fine.  For me personally their barrel was night and day better feeding compared to a stock 9mm Adco barrel.

You 'may' want to go to a heavier buffer fro what I understand.  A heavier buffer can provide a few advantages.

The slash q buffers are pretty popular as are the JP enterprise SCS buffer and JP bolt combination.

That's not to say that the CMMG won't work or won't work well.

PSA slick side is GTG, I have one.
QC10 lower is GTG, great quality in my sample although I have the GSF.
A lot of folks running the CMMG stuff, seems to work for them.

You may want to look at Mas Defense as options as well.   I've used some of their stuff in various builds and a lot of it is good quality.  Their FF rail I wasn't thrilled with but their NIB BCG, slick side upper and barrel I had no complaints about.
