Recently pick up an oldschool Aimpoint  Comp-M. Mounted it and cant seem to get the windage to adjust out correctly. Loosened the mount and rotated it 180 degrees  hinking it might adjust enough to get elevation. No luck.
Looks like it sits good in the mount. Using the iron sights for a reference the dot seems to barely move. Did I waste $300?

Make sure the optic is in the mount correctly, and the mounting screws are tight. Make sure the mount is on the upper properly and the mount is tight on the upper. Start out at 25 and see if you can zero. Then move back. If there is still an issue, let someone else shoot it to confirm if there is an issue.

This, I've put a couple Aimpoints through their paces and had one doing something similar to yours.  I shipped it back to Aimpoint and they took care of me.  It does take awhile due to it being a foreign company, but they will make it right.

Thanks. The aimpoint sits in the mount good and the mount fits the rifle good. Just cant get the dot to move very far when adjusting..
