I just sold someone an Amipoint Comp ML-XD on this board, I bought the sight from Wes at MSTN and it came in the factory sealed box that said "Comp ML-XD". I know it was the ML-XD and I trust Wes and MSTN from numerous past dealings. The buyer just sent me an email and said that hethinks it's the Comp ML model, not the ML-XD. He said he called someone at Aimpoint and described the sight to them and they said it was an ML-XD. I had the light on a duty gun for about a year and half and I it worked great for me (It actually saw very little use, I'm mostly behind the .308) I a little miffed that someone mught think that I tried to scam them and misrepresented the sight when I've only been 100% above board whenever I've sold anything online. Does anyone know if there is a way to tell the difference is between a Comp ML and a Comp ML-XD (if any) by looking at the sight? I think the person is a standup guy who just got ahold of bad info, but I want to make sure I didn't mess up. The girlfriend threw the box away in a cleaning frenzy so that's no help (ARGHHH) ANY INFO IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Bob [email protected] |

Actually Bob, It's a CompM, not an M-XD, ML or ML-XD. I did confirm this with a gentleman at Aimpoint via a phone conversation. Please understand that I'm not trying to be a troll or cause trouble here. I was just disappointed that I was told it was an ML-XD and I find out that it is an M model. I don't mean any harm and would like to resolve the issue off the board if possible. I also want to say that I thought you and I had great communication between each other and you were friendly and helpful, very timely with your responses and the shipping and packaging of the item were very good with insurance and delivery confirmation. If this was just an honest mistake, I'm sure we can settle it with no problem.
