I just received my order of Sellier & Bellot cartridges. The box reads 223 REM. FMJ/M193
3,6 g 55 grs.

Does this mean they are loaded to M193 specifications? Correct my if I am wrong, as I usually am, but I thought M193 was a higher pressure round and the standard .223 Rem round.

I will be shooting in a Mini-14 and AR-15 so I think I am alright with either pressures.

Also does anyone know what the 3,6 g means?

All comments are welcome.

I don't know about the loading, but Europeans use "," as a decimal point, so 3,6 g is 3.6 g (grams, I imagine).

ETA - As long as we're here, how does grain relate to grams?

The gram is equal to about 15.432 grains or 0.035 273 966 ounce

1 oz. = 28.3495 grams
16 oz. =  453.592 grams
1 lb. = 7000 grains
7000 grains = 453.592 grams
