CMT M4 flattops?  I didnt' know they made uppers with m4 feed ramps...   do these have them or have you figured a way to not use them?

other wise ... awesome!

a serious question (not being a 6.8 hater)... but where you getting your ammo?

I want a 6.8 upper so bad...

I'm able to get a little bit from PRI but not much.  They will sell you a small amount as a customer but only if you are a customer.

Hopefully it won't be long now till some of the usual suspects for ammo have it in stock.  We'll see!

And why is one of those not already in a box headed out to me?  A 6.8 is next on the Wish List.

I could do without the black MSTN brake though.

Sorry Corporal, I said they were MSTN brakes and I typed it in all caps.  Like Wes, from MSTN.
Running joke, that he types in all caps.  No big deal

Got any pics like this, but with a carbine or midlength rail on a rifle length PRi tube?
11/13/2004 10:45:38 PM EDT
[#26]
Jason - in this pic,

did you cut a full sized PRI SPR rail, or do they make a shorty like that?

Thanks

[#27]
That's a cut full size rail.  Mounting holes don't line up with the carbine or mid rails on the rifle tube.
Wouldn't be impossible to do just haven't done one yet.

That means the only solution for what I described would be to cut a rifle length down to a carbine or midlength size, correct?
11/14/2004 6:58:29 AM EDT
[#29]
That depends  That's probably the quickest and easiest.  Depends on whether you want to leave part of the original top rail on there.

So, what would I need to do if I wanted to mount a 3" forearm rail at the end of the tube for a front flip-up sight, and I wanted a rail to end just before the start of the 3" forearm rail to tie the FF tube to the upper?

I hope that came out clear enough.

Jason, how much for that upper with b/c/ch and a spr collar brake instead of the MSTN brake?

Delta, sorry I don't have any of the OPS brakes right now.
