Real. Or, as real as can be verified by calling Aimpoint and not sending it to them.
First the guy I spoke with asked for the last three digits of the serial. He said mine were not on any of the fake lists they knew of. Second, he asked me to look at the front of the sight and he asked me what color the glass was. From reading threads on this forum, I already knew where he was going. He said it should be red straight on, and then get yellow and then green as you tilt it away. He said what the color shift represented (NV), and that while the places that create clones could replicate this, they don't because it costs too much. I was pretty sure it was solid, but it's nice to know I didn't blow that much money. Thanks to all who answered. |
| Looks real to me and I've been through the whole nine yards of identifying fake from real aimpoints. However, a while ago when i called aimpoint for the serial check, they weren't able to help me (with verifying the serial). I called the U.S. one and they arent able to provide serials since the database is overseas in europe. |
