Howdy, I'm looking for a replacement rail plate for my MaTech 600M BUIS. The screw cracked the plate.  Anyone have a source for spares or a suggestion as to what can be used to replace it? Thanks, ~Hep |
I know about the overtightening...I have another one on my A3. What happened was I was cleaning the weapon and just checked the tightness on the screw and ended up cracking it. I friggin' KNEW better but forgot. I shouldn't have screwed with it!!!! So please chaps, don't kick a man when he's down and feeling stupid enough already for such an error.There has to be an exisiting plate that comes close to the dimensions that could replace it. |
Ya know, I know I'm an idiot for forgetting about that flaw...but looking at the thickness of the plate, all I can think of is "What the F*** were they thinking?" the other side that's integral to the base is at least 10 times thicker! Why not make the plate at least as thick? That's a really piss poor choice on their part. Why didn't they idiot proof it for forgetful idiots like me?   LOL
