| My CMMG has been operating great until all of a sudden it quit ejecting. I've tried different clips, checked the bolt, spring and even sprayed some oil. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas??? |

Have you ever disassemble your bolt and cleaned it?

| If the ejector spring is weak the ejector can bounce. This bouncing causes the bullet casing to prematurely release from the ejector lip. When this happens, the bullet casing will remain inside the chamber. Replace the ejector spring with a new one. Make sure to get one with the black bumper insert. It also wouldn't hurt to put a crane o-ring in there. I can't remember the exact size but I think it is 1/4"OD x 1/8"ID x 1/16"wall. You can pick them up at any hardware store. Make sure they are the ones that are resistant the chemical solvents. I do this to all my BCGs and have never experienced failure to ejects from my rifles. |

There is your problem! You should be using Magazines not Clips! LOL Just kidding man, it is most likely an extractor spring issue. Get the BCM upgrade. |
| It could also be that if you have taken out the bolt from the carrier (which should be done when you clean) that you put in in backwards. Make sure that the ejector side faces your ejection port. I had been cleaning my A2 and my match AR (stag upper - left eject) and the next time I shot the match rifle, I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't eject. Well, I put the bolt back as if it was a standard right eject. |

Some cheaper bolts don't have the little crimps on the back side of the cam pin hole. These are usually labeled "NOT FOR USAF OR USMC ISSUE"
