What front sight post can i put on my RRA coyote carbine? I bought some TROY b.u.i.s. and the gas block sits lower than the flat top piccanty rail. Needless to say the TROY front sight would not adjust high enough for me to get a zero. Still about a foot high on a 25 meter zero. I will post some pics. Any help would be appreiciated.

It might be that the front sight post you had was intended to be mounted on a free-float picatinny hand guard. Midwest industries makes back up front sights intended for both gas blocks and rails. You might look and see if troy does to. It might be that you ended up with their model that is height adjusted for rails rather than gas blocks. I had the same problem zeroing my BUIS and that was what turned out to be the problem. The labels on the box truned out to be a little misleading since it said BUIS for Rails and I figured to myself "well my gas block has rails on it" Turns out that Rails vs. Gas block was the distinguishing factor.
