I just recently bought a Smith M&P, as in Monday. I have not even shot
it yet i know i just have looked at it. I have a few questions on upgrades.
First off I want a flip up rear sight, give me some makes and models prices as well.
Are they as accurate as the sights on the carry handle?
I Would also like a eotech, is there a mount i need for it? How much are both?
When the eotech is not tured on can i see threw it with the iron sights to shoot long distances? Please help I'm new at this.

First off I want a flip up rear sight, give me some makes and models prices as well. I like Troy in a flip-up BUIS($140) and LaRue in a fixed BUIS ($89)
Are they as accurate as the sights on the carry handle? Yes
I Would also like a eotech, is there a mount i need for it? Only if you would like a 1/3 lower co-witiness How much are both? Best deal I've seen is from LaRue. EO Tech 512 with LaRue mount for $439

One more question can u take that front post off to get a free float tube and flip up sight?

The front sight post refers to the actual front arpeture, you do not need to remove it.
You will have to remove the front sight base and flash hider.
ETA: LINK to the build-it-yourself thread to give you an idea what is involved in changing these parts.

Unscrew flash hider. Punch out taper pins in the front sight base. Remove front sight base. More or less.
Check out the link I added in my previous post.
