So I need your opinions on my next lower(s) purchase. I've narrowed it down to these two..
4 pack Aero OR 2 MEGA forged Both would total around the same with shipping and FFL fees. Which would you choose and why? Both companies have great reviews, just curious what you all think? My first lower I assembled was an Anderson, its fine but I'd like something with a nicer finish. |

One more for Aero even though you have already made your decision. Spend the few extra $$ per receiver and get the Gen 2 Aero lowers. There are a couple companies selling them for $55-$58 each. Where at? Cheapest I've seen them was $89 Are tension set screws worth the extra money? I know MEGA uses them |

I have used both and prefer Aero. The Mega has a nicer finish and better flared mag well. What I don't like is that the Magpul Moe grip I put on the Mega has a gap in the back "beaver tail" area while the Aero fits perfect with the Moe.
The Aero seems to fit better with my PSA uppers. |

I know MEGA uses them Old Dominion Firearms odfirearms.com has a 2 pack of the Aero Gen 2 lowers for $110 and I believe it is free shipping but I could be wrong. Old Dominion Firearms Aero Gen 2 Two Pack Schuyler Arms schuylerarmsco.com normally sells an Aero Gen 2 lower for $56.00 each but they look to be out. They were in stock as of two days ago. They are a sponsor in the EE. Give them a call or reply to their thread about the lowers (they have a thread for the lowers) and find out when they will be back in stock. They do not offer free shipping. Schuyler Arms Aero Deals The tension screw is not a big deal to me but I like that the Gen 2 Aero lowers have more of a flared mag well compared to the Gen 1's and at the prices above, I see no reason to not get a Gen 2 for a few dollars more per lower. |
