I have ran acriss a DPMS upper at a local pawn shop the guys knows nothing about other the the upper was fired about 1000 rounds. Its a DPMS Hi Rider with a full 20 inch bull barrel on it. no BCG or CH. Any idea what this would sell for? The upper has not forward asst. or ejection port cover built into the upper..... |

Well, the forward assist isn't needed unless you are in a situation where you can't always keep the rifle perfectly clean. If there is so much muck that the bolt won't travel all the way forward, you hit the "forward assist". Don't know about the deflector... -Jbot |

That upper might sell for 250-275 bucks without bolt group and charging handle, depending on condition. brand new DPMS standard uppers are $400 including bolt group and charging handle. Armalite's thanksgiving sale had really nice COMPLETE uppers for $359. I would pay no more than $225, which was the price I last paid for a Colt 20" upper in excellent condition. |
