I'm looking for one of those fake A2 FH's. You know the ones where the slots are not cut out and they look very close to a standard A2.
I'm only going for looks. I don't want a brake, it's going on a 20" rifle. I can't seem to find the damned thing anywhere.

Help anybody?

THE BEST WAY TO HAVE A A2 LOOKING FLASH HIDE IS TO BUY A POST BAN LEGAL COMPENSATOR THAT LOOKS LIKE A A2 FLASH HIDER BUT IS NOT. THIS SHOULD FIT THE BILL. THIS IS THE CLOSEST LOOK YOU CAN GET TO WITH STILL BEING LEGAL , I HOPE THIS HELPS.

The man to go to IMO for those used to be Kurt Wala (RIP
).  His stuff was great.

I don't know who else offers those... but I'd bet that someone still does.

You could sleeve that item to "de-brake" it too.

Randy Kline of Sledgehammer Gun Works in Texas has experience sleeving flash hiders.
He did a bunch of 'em during "the ban."

I know that Fulton Armory used to do this kind of thing, and mebby they still do.   It was called the "look" ...IIRC.

A call to Fulton might be productive, but don't call now.

Anybody who could help you with an oddball request is at Camp Perry for the Nationals right now.

Cav Arms comp would do what you want. Looks similar enough, but with some differences. Biggest plus is it's cheap

thanks for the replies. I never thought of "sleeving" but that would give me the exact look I'm going for.
I know that somebody makes a MD that looks like a birdcage but the slots are not cut all the way through....I just cant remember where I've seen it.
