I have a ammo ? I have some AR 15 ammo from 2 different Manufactures





The first is FC 223 Rem  the casing is silver and the bullet is blue in color





The second is LC  02 with the NATO Cross and it has silver  casing and the bullet is blue looking also





almost the color of apiece of pencil lead. any help will be appreciated. I also have been told it is 62 gr.

Are you sure it is new ammo and not reloads?

Sounds like the Federal Bonded ammo.  T1 and/or T2.  Look closely to see if there's actually a little soft point lead tip.... If so, that's what you have.

Excellent barrier round as .223 goes.  Both are actually Federal.  Mine is in a Federal box, but is loaded in nickel plated LC brass.

BeerBender what you described is what I have. I bought 45 boxes of this ammo from a neighbor for $4 a box. His old lady is on his butt about

having ammo around the kids. I offered him more but he would not take it.  Thanks

You got a good deal.  It's primo barrier ammo according to the Instructor at the Sheriff's Office here.  He said it tested well against auto glass.

It works good in water jug tests with no barrier too!

If the projectiles are really blue, those would be Federal Nyclad ammo

I agree.  This was FBI duty ammo for several years.
