I seen two upper receivers with different marking on them. One had "EK" on the rear of the carry handle and the other had "LK". But neither said who made them. Can anyone help with this??? Thanks!!!!

The EK receiver was made by a company named EMCO. They supplied repair parts to the military, complete uppers and barrels, IIRC. The did this in the late '80s or early '90s. They had problems with rough finished chambers which caused a FTE problem with the rifles the parts were installed on. Most worked fine, but they have to be closely inspected to ensure the chamber won't be a problem. I have an EK marked A2 receiver in my safe right now mated to an "E MP 5.56 NATO 1/7" gov't profile, chrome lined barrel. It has been neutered but I'll thread the barrel again. ETA: EMCO is out of business right now. I think the LK are early FN Kaiser, IIRC. Info comes from biggerhammer.net, so you make the call.
