Sorry for such a stupid question, but what is the key to getting the spring to work when installing the ejection port cover? Hopefully someone will be up this late to answer it so I can finish this build :) |

I always twist the spring so it is under tension like it needs to be and pin it against the upper with my hand where it should go. Then, I slide the rod through the two holes, the door, and the spring, and let it go. Like twist spring --> Stick door over spring where it goes --> Slide rod from right to left through receiver hole, port door, spring, port door, then receiver hole. |
