Building new carbine length AR for home defense and general purpose.
Want to mount either my Aimpoint PRO or my Mepro M21. Mepro weighs two ounces more than the PRO all up. Mepro is tritium with no batteries. On the other hand, battery life of the PRO is very good. Hive input??? |

Both are good optics, the M21 is far more rugged if that's important to you.
The M21 can suffer from reticle washout under certain lighting conditions (like using a bright WML at very close range) but is very KISS w/no batteries, switches or adjustments to worry about. I'd be happy w/either but if forced to choose I'd take the M21 (YMMV). Tomac |
