Hey, new to the forum, and new to ARs. Just got my first one recently (a black Remington R-15 w/ 18" fluted barrel) and I need to decide what Optic/ Mount Setup I want to throw on it. I will be using it for range shooting, pigs and coyotes, with most shots ranging between 50 and 150 yards, but I will also occasionally take some shots up to 300. Some scopes I have looked at are:
Leupold VXII 3-9x40 Leupold Mark AR 3-9x40 Nikon M-223 2-8x32 Leupold FXII 4x This guy:3-9x42 Tactical Riflescope And I'm still unsure about mounts. I think I want a one piece, but I'm unsure of which is better. I've looked at: Nikon M-223 AR mount Leupold Mark 2 Integrated Mounting System. I'd just like to get some opinions on stuff that I've come up with or possibly other options for scopes and mounts. Don't have a fortune to drop on my scope, but I'm always open to hearing more.
