I've got an upper on the way and am looking to build a lower for it. I've already got a Rainier Ambi Billet Lower as the upper has a Rainier ultra match receiver.

I'm thinking of going with this...

http://www.redbarnarmory.com/RBA-Build-your-own-LPK-p/rbalpkcustom.htm

the options I chose are:

- Ergo grip 2
- Bad Ass ambi safety thin
- Battle Arms enhanced pin set.

Looking for suggestions on stocks and buffer assembly.

The upper I have on the way is a Mk12 Mod 1.

I have a Geissele SD-E for the trigger.

Thoughts?

I have several with the Mag Pul STR, but on my latest build I use a BCM and like it better.

I went with the Spikes Tactical buffer kit with the ST-T2 buffer, and my 16" middy loves it. Cycles smooth as silk and ejects right at about 3-3:30. As far as the stock, i recently replaced a Magpul CTR with the MFT Minimalist stock, and its a huge comfort improvement when shouldered and pivots up from a low-ready position much more fluidly. An unexpected plus is that i can now run a completely collapsed stock without interference with the qd sling mounted in the receiver extension latch plate.

I also have a Magpul STR stock that I'm quite happy with. I'd get a Hogue overmolded stock for my next build if I can find one. Alternately, it may depend on how I build the next one as to what stock I use. If I go for a lightweight carbine in 300 BO then I'll probably get a Battlelink Minimalist stock. I'm not anywhere near the furniture phase of my .300 Blackout project yet. Still deciding on what 80% lower receiver to use.
