| Alright guys. Ordered my stock(VLTOR rcv'd today :D), RRA stripped lower and LPK w/ NM trigger. Now I need to decide on barrel length. I will buy it complete as this is my first black rifle... It'll be a flat top, and I'd like to stick w/ RRA. I was thinkin 20" with a Daniel Defense rifle length handguard, but I've heard alot of people say stick w/ 16" and that there isn't much of an advantage to the 20. What say ye masses? 16 or 20. What should I do??? |
| From what I understand, 20" will provide some additional velocity (difference will be greater at longer distances) and you can use a mid-length gas system on a 20" (not completely sure of the advantage of a mid-length gas system over the carbine length system, however). |
