No experience with the BA, other than as a competitor we respect. We tend to like the Faxon barrels, though. In all seriousness, please let us know if we can be of service. We're an open book for questions. |
| I have to admit, Nathan/Faxons presence on the boards with quick answers/solutions is one of the big things that made me look to them. That and the reviews of barrels from others. LGS has the SOCOM in stock says gunner on order may pop in this weekend and see if I can side by side em. |

Almost no one who has seen the GUNNER series has opted for the SOCOM. |

Almost no one who has seen the GUNNER series has opted for the SOCOM. Yep their CS on the boards has made me grab one their barrels already. Quick question, any chance to see any CL barrels for a slightly higher price to go against some of the bigger names? I think they'd sell very well, even in the low to mid $200's. Though I did buy the barrel since I wanted to try a nitrated barrel, and I like the treatment/and the profile. But having the option for CL would be nice. |
| I have two of the Gunner barrels. They are IMO the perfect profile for a CMV barrel on a fighting rifle, and make for a very nice handling rifle. They actually shoot too... my 16" shoots MOA out to 500 yards off a bipod with hand loads. No experience with the BA. It looks like the Faxon Gunner is a little lighter forward of the gas block than anything they offer. I like to go as light as I can while still maintaining acceptable accuracy, so the Faxon would be my choice. They are also a little cheaper. |

To assist everyone, can you ask the question in the omnibus Faxon barrel thread? |
