| So I currently have the Pentagon 6V light with arms lever on it but recently got a X200A 6V LED light for my XD and threw it on the AR to find it put out the same light/beam and was much more slim profiled. So my question is why keep a big flashlight haning off vs a slim profile side by side battery light? I realize the different switches would be nice on the full size but the extra weight and bulk seem to lag it down. |

I read last night that the light you mentioned wasn't favored by people for AR/M4 use and some of them fell off. I don't know if this is still the case. It was a "candlepowerforum.com" forum IIRC. www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/ |
There were some issues with early production X200A's but that problem has been solved with the newer six screw format that has been out the last couple of years. For rifle use the new X300 is the ideal contender due to its increased output (110 lumens) & better down range performance --
