| I saved up $2000 to spend on a new toy. It was originally for a new 308 ar10 to clean up a pig problem, but they seemed to have moved on. So help me decide what to get. Shotgun wise I am complete, have a dozen I think, couple of glocks and 22's, and a bushmaster that I have put over $2k into. Still kind of want the ar10 or a rifle length ar15 but what else is out there that yall couldn't live without? Be specific, make, model, caliber so on. There is a really nice ar10 DPMS that my local gun dealer has in his personal collection that he wants to sell me, but first I would like yalls opinion on what else is out there. Thanks. |

one of these with a 36 inch barrel so you can have an ar over 5 foot long and tell the ak guys that your ar can shoot heavier loads than their ak.

If you want an ar10 I'd say get a RRA LAR-8 for 1300.00, 700.00 left over for optics. 20" is suppose to shoot 1 moa from the factory. I would also get an upgraded rail from the factory. I was thinking about it. Only Armalite makes the AR10. I say go with your instincts and get the AR10 you wont regret it. |
