A fellow arcommer kindly sent me a Type D (no buttstock trap) buttstock for my NDS XM-16E1 clone. I removed the Fulton Armory A1 stock I had on it
and started to put on the type D stock. I noticed it was extremely tight going onto the buffer tube. So tight that like an idiot I hammered it home with a rubber hammer. Of course the takedown detent spring got bent to the side and part of it is hanging out. Problem is there is now no way I can even budge the stock back off. Am I gonna have to cut off the buffer tube or something? HELP! |
