| Hello guys, I'm searching for a scope mount for my flat top upper that wont break the bank, that is also of decent quality. A quick release lever system would be nice, but I'm open to all suggestions. Hope some of you can point me in the right direction. |

ADM normally has the cheaper, decent quality QD mounts. I like Larue and there are several for sale on the EE right now. Good advice above. Worth waiting and saving for, IMHO. ADM Recon or Larue LT-104. I lean toward the Larue dual lever for scopes, and ADM single lever for red dots. A good bit cheaper and QD is the Burris PEPR. It will do, but it is heavy and bulky/blocky and not quite as good about true return to zero. For a rugged fixed mount consider the Leupold Mark 2 IMS or the Aero Precision, each at about $85 and, as someone above pointed out, run your backups offset. |
