I have one on my Noveske Diplomat SBR (7.5") and it works great.  I love the reticle, this rifle/scope combo is getting less then .75" groups with match 75gr factory ammo.

Nice clear glass, built like a tank.  Co-witnesses fine with my Troy/Noveske flip up iron sights.

One downside is battery life, but then that's way the etched / black reticle.

I used the factory mount, but just upgraded to LaRue's mount for this scope, I like it a whole lot more, nice mount Mark.

I highly recommend them.

I just ordered one from SWFA.  It should be in my hands tomorrow, and I plan on trying to shoot with it by Friday.

I'll post back with some impressions this weekend.

The Leupold Tactical Prismatic and a 1.5-4 are very different animals.  The Prismatic, being more suitable for CQB, would be more appropriate for an SBR in my opinion.

I'll let you know how it goes in regards to the illumination.

A friend of mine just got one, I like it.  Its a very clear sight, but the reticule is very crooked.  The top of the crosshair is at the 1 o'clock position.  He called Leupold and they acknowledged they had a problem with their early sights.  But they are going to exchange it for free.  I think this sight would be excellent for close quarters shooting.  Look thru it before you buy it.

Thanks bud, I really like it too, with its clear picture and all.
I hope they get it fixed fast.
I just order the LaRue mount so when they get my hairs lined up I will be in business!

I will keep you posted in a week or two when I have it back!

I hope their canted reticles issue isn't carrying over to the Prismatic.  You'd think they'd have learned by now...
