I would like to post pics of my new rifle, but dont know how to do it.  Help would be appreciated.

OK Ill bite, First you need a Digacam.........Sorry you knew that...
Second you need a place to host them, Check with you ISP, mine(adelphia) gives me 10megs of space for free, Then youll need some kind of FTP program, I use LeapFTP..

If not try Hunt101.com, Or better yet Pay a little money and become an ARFCOM team member and use our AR15.com hosting.

Next, When posting, Hit the button "image" and insert the URL to your hosted pic.
Mine looks like this: HTTP://users.adelphia.net/~masine/115.jpg

Try copying the blue text above in your reply using the "image" button

If you do it right you'll get this:

To find the URL on a pic that is already on the internet: right click on the pic, go to properties, copy the section labeled "Adress: (URL)" and then paste it in your reply, and add a (image) at the begining and a (/image) at the end of the pasted URL except use brackets "[]" instead of parenthasese "()".
