Okay, apparently I'm unable to live up to the motto, "Be smarter than the ________."  Insert M5 RAS in the blank in my case.

I just purchased this new and either it was opened prior to purchase and the instructions were removed or fell out during shipping or it's so simple that instructions aren't necessary except for someone such as myself.

I can't get the upper portion low enough for the delta ring to slip over it.  Do I just need to muscle this thing or is there a trick to doing it?

Also, if there is a manual for this online somewhere, I'd appreciate a link.

Thanks in advance for enlightening me,
Scott

I assume it's designed the same way as a carbine length RAS? If so, there should be a screw at the rear of the upper handguard that should be removed. Let the hook drop down so that it slips under the barrel nut and replace the screw.

ETA a pic, thank you sir.  Second pic is an item inside the panel pouch, what the heck is it for?!?!? Please don't tell me I need to remove this blasted thing again.
