Hello and thanks for reading. I am close to finishing my 1st AR build. I have to buy the barrel, gas block, gas tube, hand guard and an optic. I'm looking for recommendations mainly for the barrel and optic. I want it to be reasonably accurate out to 400 yards to hit 12"steel plate. I saw White Oak Armament 18" and 20" that looked good. Like a lot of people Obama pushed me into a hasty purchase of a lower. For the past 7 months I have been purchasing parts when money and availability of parts coincide. I'm looking not to spend more than $200 for the optic $300 for the barrel I have done some research and I like the looks of:
