(Above) Searched and found "Cardinal Forge" mark. 13/16 of an inch tall to the shelf the sight sits on. 
12.5/16 of an inch tall to the shelf the sight sits on. You can see maker's marks on them...anyone know where they came from? Thanks I had read the Cardinal Colts had a "C" by the Cardinal.
At this point I am trying to figure out which one to use on a Bushmaster Rifle. I had heard there was a difference in Milspec/Commercial handles and some would or wouldn't work. The front sight has a "8 R" with a Crown. The upper has no markings that I can find. I bought it in the late 90's from a random dealer in Mobile, AL. FOUND IT: The AB is Commercial. The Cardinal is Mil-Spec. Based it on: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_18/551032_.html Since my front sight post is not "F" marked I will use the Commercial Handle. |
