My EOTech 512 won't turn on. I don't know why, but before this, the batteries had leaked and I contacted them about how to clean it. They said a solution of baking soda and warm water would clean it up. It worked and about a couple days ago I went to the range to confirm zero and to make sure everything was fine. Now it doesn't turn on.  I tried it with Energizer Ultimate lithiums, Duracell rechargeables, and Duracell coppertops. Also one of the black rubber stoppers (holding the spring) in the battery compartment fell out.(left one to be exact)

So what to do? I contacted them, but no reply yet.

Here some pics of what had happened.

Wow, I normally store my AR's muzzle down.  I think I'll keep doing that.

The batteries were the supplied energizers so they were about a year old. It was about a week from last using it to seeing that they have leaked. The weird thing is that after I cleaned it, it worked but now it doesn't.

How much water was used?  Where and how was the water applied? Did you replace the piece holding the spring before you attempted to turn it back on?
