I have the opportunity to buy a POF 415. I have not heard of this company or know much about their rifle.
Does anyone own one currently or owned one in the past that can give me some good input one these rifles?
What are the pros and cons of this rifle, and if something breaks are the parts specific for this rifle or can
they I go to my local gun store are pick up the parts?
Thanks in advance.

Hey- there will be pro and cons- some will complain about customer service and some will complain about the product- I have had two and still have one 415, love it great product. The customer service comes and goes. If you are getting a good price I don't think you will be sorry.

It took some experimenting with buffers and springs to get my 415 to run properly suppressed but I hear this isn’t unusual for 7” barrels.
I had the head of my gas plug blow apart and they sent me a new one. They blamed it on a bad tempering job. I actually didn’t notice until I went to put on my silencer.
It runs like a champ now and I primarily use wolf since that what the guys at POF said they use.  Cheap ammo means you can shoot twice as much.
I love the ambi controls too. I would never get another rifle without them.

I am a pof fanboy.  I have three.

Two 9.25 uppers and an 18" upper. Love them.

The customer service has been good for me and my customers.

This. I've had two. They were both great rifles. But I hear customer service comes and goes and there was a period where people were having issues with their rifles.

I've had two of these. One ran like a Swiss watch and the other wouldn't run right to save its life. I had nothing but good to say about their CS but wasn't happy with having to send the upper back several times. Only other gripe was the weight. It's a tank of a rifle and seems to get pretty heavy as the day goes on. I ended up ditching the piston guns and going to switchblock barrels for suppressor use.

Would you happen to know if the parts are easily available if something breaks?
or will I have to get parts directly from POF?
Thanks for the detailed reply!

The piston system and the MRR (monolithic rail receiver) are proprietary.
POFs and Hogans are basically similiar and depending on the models, parts can be inter-changeable.
As far as the lower goes, it's pretty much milspec. Though I just recently discovered neither my gen1 nor the gen2 lowers have the M4 cuts.
Hope that helps.

My P415 will put three shots into 1/2" at 100 yards.
Everyone who shoots it is amazed at how this rile shoots. It's a quality rifle that has functioned perfectly for me.
