I just listed this optic in the EE and someone said it might be fake.  I originally bought this optic at a gun show in Kansas City.  The guys I bought it from told me they used it as a demo unit.  He told me it was an RM01 when I bought it so I always thought that is what it was.  I had it mounted on a rifle at a 45 that I did not shoot much.  The sight is in excellent shape and I've shot less than 200 rds with it.  I called Trijicon today and after telling them the serial number they stated this sight was actually on RM02 and that the original seller was amazon.  They also told me the sight was manufactured in October of 2010.  Anyone have any experience with these that could give me some info?

Fake as hell. Look at the font of the writing, and also look at the adjustments.....they should be flat head, not hex.....the Bible verse is also the wrong one for an RM02 or RM01.

Here's a picture of the RMR RM07 I just bought from DSG Arms, for comparison -

Writing looks a little funny.

My virus scanner blocks the Georgia Optics website so that makes me more suspicious.

I'm surprised these guys sold me a fake sight.  I bought a few hundred dollars more of accessories from them that day and the guy who I was dealing with gave me a card and asked that I call him personally the next time I was going to buy any optics.  Maybe he knew he could beat anyone's price because hed just sell me fake stuff.  Lol.  I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt...I'm sure they just made an honest mistake.  I'll be in contact with them tomorrow.
