I have a DPMS lower and am looking for a 20" standard A3 upper to match it.

Looked at the RRA but not sure I like the Wylde Chamber.

Looked at the DPMS but mixed reviews on DPMS

Looked at Del-Ton, but not sure it is 5.56 NATO.

Model 1 would get the Stainless Barrel

Any idea or thoughts or others I should look at?  Any advice is much appreciated!

Never heard good things about DPMS stock barrels, though my uncle just built a .308 with one of their custom barrels and says it shoots like a dream. Nothing wrong at all with the wylde chamber on the RRA. My preferance would be Del-Ton, it is in 5.56 and it's a wilson barrel, i.e. hole in hole at 100 yards (if you're good enough heardGood Luck!

+1 on RRA, pick the stainless 1-8 twist barrel option.  Shoots all ammo just fine - no worries.  It's not the cheapest, but it's the best one on your list.

I bought a pre built dpms and I love it. All dpms should be fitted with a milspec 5.56 chamber.  Call to make sure though.

Also the 'Ammo Oracle' on this sight should have info about which companies use spec 5.56 chambers
