Hello all,

I'm about ready to buy a VCAS, but I would like to get some help with mounting/attaching options.  Only have a side swivel as a fore attachment point, but I would like to be able to easily detach the sling from the fore and aft postions.  Is there any way to connect some sort of quick detach option on the front end of the sling, and if so, could you shoot me a few links?

Thanks!
Nick

I believe the standard VCAS comes with a Fastex buckle mounted in front to accomplish exactly what you describe. You can add another one for the aft mount, though it will add length to the sling.

I don't know why I couldn't see that earlier.  Thanks!!   I think that I'll try that.

Another question...   I'm looking at the padded VCAS, but I can't seem to find any in stock.  Is the only difference between the VCAS and the AA VCAS the material of the quick release buckle?  Is the padded portion the same and the other features the same??

The only difference between the standard VCAS and the Double A VCAS is the material used on the Quick Adjust Buckle.  The original VCAS has a Quick Adjust Buckle made of aluminum and the Double A has a Quick Adjust Buckle made of Acetal (which is the material used on all of the rest of the buckles on the sling).  Just to let you know, since we started carrying the Double A Model, it outsells the original VCAS 10 to 1 and not a single complaint about the Acetal buckle.  We also generally have a complete selection in stock.
