Ok guys - I am a little lost on how to go about a project I really need to do!! Own a Bushmaster M-4 flattop with an EOTech 512 (I believe). I need some BUIS sights and want to install one of the EOTech 3X Magnifier W/Flip to Side Mount. Below are several pictures of the weapon. Several questions come to mind:
1. Can I mount the current EOTech sight , a rear flip-up sight, and the 3X Magnifier onto the flat top rail already in place or will I need to extend or get a long rail? 2. What brand rear flip-up sight and either stationary or flip-up front sight is recommened and will fit this configuration? 3. Will I have to get some type risers/mounts to accomplish what I wish to do? Edit: I just noticed the Eotech you have doesn't have the notch at the front to fit over the handguards, so you might have problems. I think you will also need to get a 7mm riser for it so that it lines up correctly with the magnifier since that model doesn't have the built in riser.
I've got a 557, 4X FTS, and GG&G BUIS all on the flattop portion of my AR with no problem. There is very little room to spare, though. Here's a picture so you can see how it fits. 
And here is one with the magnifier removed to get a better idea of where the BUIS and mag mount are.

If you take it off the riser-thing it is on now and mount it as far forward as possible, does the handguard get in the way? If so, that is probably going to limit what you are able to mount at the same time unless you change out the Eotech for one of the newer models that have the battery compartment slightly higher (like mine is) to fit over the handguards. |

Okay, my recomendations are:
LaRue LT110 EO Tech riser LaRue LT649 (tall) FTS (Flip To Side) 30mm magnifier mount 30mm magnifier of choice (be aware this does not include EO Tech magnifiers!) BUIS of choice (I like Magpul MBUS!) Magpul MOE handguards Yes, I suggest you ditch those handguards you have and pick up a set of Magpul MOE handguards that won't be in the way. Yes, I have a cutout and built in-riser, but didn't need it to clear the handguards:

| You'll have to watchout what kind of magnifier mount you use because the controls for your Eotech are on the back of your unit. The ones with magnifiers in the pics are 557 and 556 which have the controls on the side. I think the Larue flip to side mount will allow you to access the controls. |

I just flip my magnifier to the side and turn on my xps. |
