I have a Daniel Defense receiver assembly with m4 feedramps. I recently purchased a DPMS AP4 barrel from someone on the EE that was suppose to have the m4 feedramp extension. Well guess what? It doesnt. My question is can I dremmel the 2 ramps to fit together or have I just been banged in the bumb. I'd sent the damn thing back but I already took the front sight tower off.

No.

There was a post about a company that tried that, and it came out like shit. It didn't even look safe. I would strongly advise that sell the bbl, and get another one. Or, you can get another receiver.

yes, just modify the receiver extension on the barrel until it matches the receiver. Just get it close and it will function just fine.

You can widen the extension ramps to fit the cuts in the upper.You just need a vise,barrel vice blocks a sharpie and tape to mask off the line for the angle from the receiver ramp to the extension ramp.Put the barrel in the upper and use a piece of tape to follow the line from the receiver ramp to the extension ramp..

tape off and color in with the sharpie..do this left to right on both ramps and then grind along the lines keeping the angle of the ramp on the extension.If youve never done it find someone who has as its real easy to mess up without having some skill at doing it.
